BAC Accreditation

British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education (BAC)

TASMAC is the first Institution outside Europe and the only Institution in India to be Accredited and Recognised by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education, UK.

The British Accreditation Council (BAC) is an independent body established in 1984 to act as the UK’s national accrediting agency for independent further and higher education. More than 100 colleges in the UK are accredited by the BAC. In 2000, BAC’s remit was extended to provide the accreditation service to overseas institutions offering British higher education qualifications. The objective of the BAC is to improve and enhance the standards of independent further and higher educational institutions by the establishment of a system of accreditation. The Secretary of State for education, UK has described BAC as "the only public guarantee of standards in independent institutions of further and higher education in the UK".

BAC’s accreditation of overseas institutions is only available to higher education establishments working in collaborative partnerships with British Universities or other recognised British awarding bodies in the field of higher education. Accreditation is awarded after a satisfactory report from BAC’s specialist inspectors has been considered and approved by the BAC’s accreditation and recognition committee.

The British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education (BAC) says in their report on TASMAC... “Training and Advanced Studies in Management and Communications Ltd. (TASMAC) was inspected by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education in October 2002. BAC’s inspectors reported on a very good or excellent standard of provision in all of the areas assessed.
