owned and funded University in Alabama, which
started in 1830; this is their 177th year in
progress.

University of North Alabama is a State university
and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges
of the Southern Association of Colleges and
Schools to award bachelors, masters, and
education specialist degrees. Recently, UNA

The new student recreation
center at UNA has a state-of-art fitness center,
three multiple purpose indoor courts, dance

courts, rack field, soccer field and indoor
swimming pool.

a student/faculty ratio of 23:1, the students
at UNA are never packed into massive lecture
halls, and are never lost in a sea of nameless
classmates.
Graduates with 15 years
of academic education can also apply for the
MBA programme. Very few Universities in US
allow this.
The
University is a thriving academic community
with highly qualified and experienced staff
and excellent teaching resources. The faculty
at UNA is made up of 288
distinguished men and women, of
whom approx. 181 are full time. Of the full
time faculty, 67 % hold doctoral degree and
72% hold terminal degrees in their fields. Hence
all courses are taught by qualified faculty
members and not by graduates or teaching assistants.
