    Highlights of the Programme

    The Bachelor of Commerce programme at TASMAC enables young student to become comfortable with taking risks and working as part of a team, and to develop the necessary skills to lead others. It also prepares students for effective professional and managerial careers in organizations.The Bachelor of Commerce provides a solid foundation in economics, quantitative methods and organizational behavior. Apply critical and analytical skills and methods to the identification, evaluation and resolution of complex problems and to do so from the standpoint of specialized knowledge developed in at least one specific commerce disciplines.

    Objectives The objective of this course is to acquaint students with the accounting concepts, tools and techniques influencing business organizations, concepts and principles of Management, mathematics and application of mathematics to commercial Situations, economic principles in their business management. The objective of this course is to provide a brief idea about the framework of certain allied aspects of fundamentals of Statistics for interpreting business data.

    The program aims at:

  • To create additional avenue of Self Employment to the students & to provide suitable & trained persons for Financial Services Sector
  • To prepare graduates to compete with the degree holders of Private & Foreign Universities.
  • To make aware about the practical aspect of the theoretical concepts.
  • To establish strong co-ordination between the Services Sector & the Institutions of Higher Education.

      Library Deposit –Rs. 5000/- & Registration Fee – Rs. 5000/- are payable for all of the above courses. Accommodation Fee – Hostel Rent for 4 months; Rs. 20,000/- (` 5,000 per month)
       
     
    Notes:
     
    • Fees payable to Bangalore University will be extra. This will be as per the Bangalore University notifications.
    • The application fees are payable along with the application form and are refundable only in case the application is not accepted.
    • The library deposit is payable at the start of the course, along with the 1st year fees, and is refundable after completion of the programme.
    • The 1st year tuition fees are payable within 15 days of receiving the offer letter.
    • The 2nd and 3rd year fees each are payable by 15th March of the following two year – a late fees of Rs. 500/- is payable per week or part thereof.
    • TASMAC does not run its own hostel, and hence hostel fees are subject to change without prior notification.
    • Hostel Room allotment will be on a first-come-first-serve basis and is subject to availability of vacancies.
    • Kindly make the demand draft for hostel fees in favour of Woodstock Ambience Pvt. Ltd. payable at Bangalore.
    • Kindly make a demand draft for all other fees in favour of Dua Foundation Trust, payable at Bangalore.
    • Fees once paid are not refundable

     
    TASMAC SCHOLARSHIP POLICY:
    All scholarship will be based on the following
     
    • Candidates who score above 90% in their 2nd PUC/12th standard can avail a 100% scholarship;
    • Candidates who score between 80% to 89.99% in their 2nd PUC/12th standard can avail a 50% scholarship.
    • Candidates who score between 50% to 79.99% in their 2nd PUC/12th standard can avail a 25% scholarship.
    • Candidates need to score above (90%, 80% and 50% respectively) in the TASMAC entry test.
    • Personal Interviews will also play a deciding factor.
    • Foreign students will get a $1000 scholarship per year across all courses on tuition fees.
     
    Scholarship Terms
     
    • The tuition fees would be paid on a pro rata basis per year, less the scholarship awarded for that year.
    • Scholarship may be withdrawn under the following circumstances:
      • The student defaults on his/her existing fees payments.
      • The student fails in any examination in any subject throughout the year (in the event the student fails in the second year the corresponding years scholarship will be withdrawn).
      • A serious act of indiscipline (an enquiry committee will determine if the act is serious or not).
